Let the Twitter debates begin…
Whether you’re a fan of Jordan, Magic, Bird, Dr. J, Bill Russell, Kobe, or any of the other NBA greats – if you love and appreciate the game of basketball there’s no denying that Lebron James is one of the most talented players the league has ever seen. And that’s exactly what Pacers head coach Frank Vogel was acknowledging when he called Lebron the Michael Jordan of our era.
“It’s bitterly disappointing to lose to this team three years in a row, but we’re competing against the Michael Jordan of our era, the Chicago Bulls of our era.”
The Miami Heat, led by Lebron James, are only the fourth team to go to 4 straight NBA finals – along with the 57-66 Celtics, 82-85 Lakers and the 84-87 Celtics. I don’t care how you feel about how he got there or if you just don’t like the guy in general, that is Jordan-esque.
