Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been accused of sexual assault by a young woman in Georgia TMZ has learned.
The alleged incident occurred early this morning at Capital City — a club in Milledgeville, Georgia.
The alleged victim, who has already been interviewed by police, has been treated and released.
We’re told in addition to the alleged victim, witnesses are being interviewed — and one law enforcement source says they will attempt to interview Roethlisberger
Either Big Ben is just an unlucky guy or something strange is going on. This is the 2nd accusation in less than 12 months.
If you recall Andrea McNulty a hotel worker at Harrah’s accused Big Ben of sexual assault in a civil suit that is pending.
Big Ben owns a home close to Milledgeville, Georgia. You know my policy with accusations like this, I never assume anything until more evidence and more information is given.
I always take the case more seriously when the accuser goes to the police immediately as this young lady did. Doesn’t mean she is telling the truth, but it tells me that it will at least be fully investigated.
If true Ben Roethelisberger needs to be thrown under jail, if the young lady is lying she should be prosecuted.
Detectives with the Milledgeville Police Department in Milledgeville, Ga., will not interview Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger until Monday at the very earliest, according to an MPD spokesperson.

The alleged sexual assault took place in the bathroom of the club. Very classy Ben, very classy. Even if the assault claims are untrue you are Ben Roethisberger why are you having relations in a “club bathroom”?
He is not the brightest guy in the world.

Gregg Rosenthal of ProFootballTalk.com reports:
Roethlisberger’s representatives have denied the allegations involved in TMZ’s report after being contacted by PFT Friday.
They did not comment as to whether Roethlisberger was in fact accused of sexual assault, just that the allegations were untrue and the events in question did not happen.
