This starts with yesterday post about Dwyane Wade dressed up as Justin Timberlake.
I got an email from a reader who is white, who specifically said:
“Don’t get mad if a white person dresses up as Lil Wayne this year”
I understood what he was saying, the problem with stuff like this is you can never judge intent. The age old saying goes.
“Are they laughing with you or are they laughing at you?”
In Steve Porter case I don’t think any negative intent was meant. He just was adding on to his very impressive Moss remix video.
With that being said, some people will use Halloween as convenient way to show their under the surface prejudice.
So take it on a case by case basis. I don’t think anything is wrong with D Wade or Steve Porter pics, but that doesn’t give everyone carte blanche to do whatever they like just because it is Halloween.
Just keep that in mind.
