After the Saints comeback victory against the Falcons some of the defensive players lead by Jonathan Vilma went out the the Saints 50 yard line to get their myspacemodel on.
This was probably in response to Roddy White’s twitter rant which he couldn’t back up on the field.
I checked Roddy’s twitter and it is silent besides saying it was a tough loss. Here is a report on what happened after the game.
When it was over, several Saints defensive players came back onto the field to pose for group pictures, gleefully celebrated on the Falcons’ home field, while a small group of Saints fans cheered from the stands.
“We didn’t want to wait until next week to clinch the playoffs,” Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma said. “We wanted a remembrance of this. That’s why we went out and had our picture taken on the Falcon.”
What do you think?
My feelings are the game was over, so if they want to do the Dirty Bird at midfield that is their prerogative. If I was a Falcons player I would just store it away for motivation the same way Saints players saved those Roddy White’s tweet.
As long as no one “Dougie” I am cool with it.
