If only Amar’e had this type of passion on the court, the Knicks might have a better shot at winning the series. The running joke is this is the first time Amar’e has crashed the glass all year.
I wonder who or what Amar’e is upset about? Could it be Carmelo or is he just frustrated with his own play?
Berger reports that paramedics rushed into the Knicks locker room after the game to attend to Stoudemire and that a fire extinguisher’s glass enclosure was shattered. Witnesses to the incident reported that there was “a lot of blood.”
Following the incident, Berger reports that Stoudemire left the arena through a security exit with his “left hand bandaged and [his] arm in a sling.
The good news is that he didn’t use his shooting hand, don’t know how comforting that is to the Knicks or Knicks fan.
Round 1 definitely went to the Fire Extinguisher.
