By all accounts Braylon Edwards has been having a great camp with the Seattle Seahawks. It is the reason Terrell Owens has gone fishing.
Edwards was asked about the differences between Russell Wilson and Mark Sanchez here is what he had to say.
Seattle Seahawks receiver Braylon Edwards has played with rookie quarterbacks before. In Cleveland it was Brady Quinn. In New York it was Mark Sanchez. And now in Seattle it is Russell Wilson.
When Edwards was asked by Doug Farrar of Yahoo Sports to compare Wilson with Sanchez, he said, “I see better things,” he said. “It’s like I said after the Chiefs game — it’s his approach. It’s very veteran-like. He studies film; he breaks it down. He doesn’t approach it like a rookie, and he’s not looking for excuses. He’s very impressive.”
While Edwards sees better potential in Wilson, he still has to show it on the field during the regular season. Regardless what you think of Sanchez currently, he has made it to two AFC Championship games in three years as a wild card team.
