As I stated when it happened, per the rules it was a penalty, but Mays is being punished for just going 100 MPH nothing more nothing less.
It was a violent hit, but it wasn’t intentional and it was more of the whiplash effect from the hit that caused Schaub’s helmet to fly off.

Mays is appealing the suspension is he should.
