The New York Jets have been absolutely abysmal this season.
Their offense struggles to score any points, the once great defense really isn’t that great anymore, and the Jets teams that once reached consecutive AFC Championship games seems like a distant memory.
Head coach Rex Ryan his teams season is headed down the drain fast unless something changes. Apparently, after Sundays 28-7 lost to the Seahawks, Rex got a little emotional in the post game speech.
According to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York: In his postgame address to the team, Ryan got so emotional that he actually cried, according to several players. He was everything in the locker room — mad, frustrated, urging. And harsh. According to players, he asked the pointed question, “When are you guys going to believe?”
I’d much rather have a coach that cares too much than one that doesn’t care enough.
I respect Rex, but those tears won’t save the Jets season.
