After one of the most surprising firings in the league, former Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith was left jobless after leading a Bears team to 10 wins. Despite not making the playoffs, one could safely assume that Lovie would receive offers elsewhere because of his typically strong Bears team throughout the years.
It appears Lovie has his first opportunity elsewhere, and it’s with the Buffalo Bills.
According to WGR Radio host Howard Simon, the Bills have scheduled an interview this weekend with the former Bears head coach. Sources also indicated Smith has keen interest in the job, and is eager to hear Buffalo out.
Lovie Smith was 81-63 in 9 seasons with the Chicago Bears.
