If this is the guy who has been giving Dwight all the bad advice over the past couple of years, then this is an excellent move by Howard.
Maybe, the smartest one he has made in a while. Kevin Samples has been Dwight’s business manager for 9 years, but Dwight tells Insidehoops.com that it is time he handle things on his own.
“We had nine great years together, just time to go separate ways.”
“I know what I want to accomplish,” Howard said. “I’ve always written down my goals and everything I want, and I want to make sure I get ‘em. Everything I’ve lost, everything that’s gone away, I’m going to get it back.”
I hope those goals include to stop contradicting himself, so often when he speaks to the media. I think, once Dwight signs a long term deal, all of this craziness surrounding him will settle down.
The question still begs, what team will that be.
