Thanks to ABC, we got word that Arian Foster is going to be showing his talents on another big stage, Hollywood.
Foster is expected to play a role in a new movie, directed and staring Kevin Costner, called “Draft Day”. The movie is about Browns GM Sonny Weaver (Costner) who on the day of the NFL Draft has the opportunity to save football in Cleveland with the number one draft pick. He must decide what he’s willing to sacrifice in pursuit of perfection as the lines between his personal and professional life become blurred on a life-changing day for a few hundred young men with dreams of playing in the NFL.
Foster will play a character by the name of Ray Jennings, a NFL Draft potential.
Foster isn’t the only NFL star to be casted Demario Davis, James Brewer, Ramses Barden, Zoltan Mesko, and Stephen Hill, as well as NFL and ESPN on-air talent Jon Gruden, Mike Mayock, Deion Sanders, Rich Eisen, Mel Kiper and Chris Berman are also expected to be in tow.
Cant go wrong with a Kevin Costner film, especially in sports. Kevin Costner made “Bull Durham” into a classic, hopefully “Draft Day” will meet the same acclaim.
