B-Hop who now goes by The Alien moniker recently turned 49 years old. I don’t people will appreciate what he is doing until many years down the road.
On April 19th he will try to be the oldest boxer to unify titles when he fights Shumenov at the DC Armory in Washington, D.C.
Hopkins masterplan is to become the lineal light heavyweight champion at 50 years old, but that would mean a bout against Adonis Stevenson or Sergey Kovalev. Let’s see first if Hopkins can continue to fight off father time.
