Jabari Parker Calls Duke Career ‘Incomplete’

BjRePAsCEAANUeS

If you thought Duke losing to Mercer messed up your brackets, imagine what this would do to draft boards across the NBA.

Duke freshman sensation Jabari Parker now has a decision to make after a stunning first-round exit that included some great dancing from Mercer.

There had been some murmurs before that Parker may not be a one-and-done at Duke, and now Blue Devil fans may have even more reason to expect Parker back for a second season at Cameron.

Now the issue with something like this is that there is obviously a lot of emotion involved with these players after such a heartbreaking loss. There have been plenty of times in the past where a player said he may return/wants to return/going to return, only to change his mind when the NBA comes calling.

If Parker were to return to Duke for another year, along with the possibility that fellow top five pick Joel Embiid may also be returning to Kansas, this year’s loaded draft class could lose some serious star power.

It will be interesting to see how the 2014 NBA Draft unfolds in the next couple of months.
