Colts QB Matt Hasselbeck has been in the NFL now for 15 years, and the 38-year-old announced he’s planning to retire following the 2014 season. So it seems kind of odd that a guy who looks more like a chartered accountant than a professional football player would be subjected to the league’s random drug testing at this stage in his career, but it happened this past Wednesday to Hasselbeck.
Random drug testing.
To his credit Hasselbeck was able to laugh the whole thing off, coming up with a brilliant, and hilarious, analogy on Twitter.
Every time I get tested for steroids reminds me of the elderly lady at the airport that TSA pulls out of line for a pat down.

Don’t blame the system, Matt—if old ladies can try and sneak pieces through airport security, then veteran NFLers can take ‘roids to prolong careers. It’s just science.
