Loul Deng experienced the best of both worlds this season when he had the opportunity to play with the Chicago Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Deng seemed frustrated early on by the way the Cavs did things and reportedly had no interest in returning as a free agent. Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal is reporting that the feeling is mutual, and the Cavaliers haven’t expressed much interest at all in re-signing Deng as a free agent.
Yahoo Sports reported Thursday that the Cavs could increase their chances of retaining free agent Luol Deng should they hire [former Bulls assistant Adrian Griffin] to be their coach, but the Cavs tried trading Deng at the trade deadline three months ago and haven’t expressed much interest in bringing him back.
