As the Timberwolves search for a new coach, a familiar name may be willing to come down from the front office and coach the team. According to Marc Stein, Flip Saunders is giving strong consideration to it:

This was a likely scenario I laid out when Rick Adelman retired back in April. The most important thing going on with the Wolves right now is keeping or trading Kevin Love though and Saunders is saying publicly that he won’t move the big man.
*UPDATE* Well that escalated quickly. It appears Flip will make the comeback to coaching:
