If you have a STD you should tell your partner, but it appears at least from the lawsuit the woman knew something was wrong (will get graphic shortly), but kept having unprotected sex with Thomas.
Here are the details her lawsuit according to TMZ.
According to the lawsuit, filed in San Diego, a woman named “Adrienne” says she started dating Thomas in 2010 and often had unprotected sex.
Adrienne claims she noticed “puss-filled bumps on his buttocks and inner thigh” and asked about them — but he explained they were the result of sweat buildup caused by his football gear.
In the docs, Adrienne says she also noticed “bruises and sores” on his penis back in March 2010 — but again, he had an explanation … telling her “the sores on [the] penis came from getting it stuck in a zipper.”
Adrienne claims she was tested for STDs in December 2010 but the results showed she was clean. It wasn’t until February 2012 that she tested positive for genital herpes … and she claims Thomas is the only person who could’ve passed along the disease.
She also says that Thomas beat her, but never went to the police. She is suing for sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, fraud through intentional concealment and negligence.
Cam’s lawyer says his client he didn’t give the woman herpes.
Cam’s Miami-based attorney Adam Kenner continues … “She’s angry, vindictive and mean because he has another woman, and a baby in his life.”
Kenner says the fact she tested NEGATIVE for herpes during their relationship is strong proof he’s not the one who passed along the disease … and claims the fact she tested positive 5 months AFTER they stopped having sex means it’s impossible to pin Cam as the transmitter.
We asked Cam’s lawyer if the NFL player does in fact have herpes — to which we were told, “I’m not his doctor but we’re going to get him tested as a result of this baseless accusation.”
