According to Bart Hubbuck of the New York Post, The Minnesota Vikings won’t release Adrian Peterson, but haven’t ruled out trading the running back in lieu of his child abuse indictment.

Minnesota may elect to trade Peterson anyway, especially if it will allow them to get out from under his enormous contract.
