Lions center Dominic Raiola has always been in the news for dirty plays, and the most recent came Sunday when he stomped on the ankle of Bears Ego Ferguson. Raiola has already been suspended for the week 17 game against the Packers, but Ferguson’s teammate, Brandon Marshall is speaking out against Raiola. He claims that in 2012 Raiola made comments basically to make fun of him because of his mental illness.
Of course, this is coming from Marshall so you could choose to believe it’s hearsay with no proof. However, Raiola’s long history of being a dirty player suggests that it’s quite possible that it happened. Raiola was fined $10K for punching Patriots Zach Moore in November, and coincidentally enough, last November he tried to take out Moore’s knees at the end of a game. In October of 2013, he made some very mean comments about the Wisconsin band, so it’s not hard to believe that Raiola is a bully at heart.
"This guy is a dirty player, and he's a worse human being. He has no respect for himself." Brandon Marshall on Raiola.

Marshall basically said Raiola was cracking jokes about his mental illness prior to game.

Marshall said the mental illness stuff was two years ago.

B Marsh: "I’m just warming up, just standing there. He’s like, ‘Go take your medicine. You freaking weirdo, you freaking crazy guy.’"
