While the Cleveland Cavaliers are sitting nicely at the two spot in the east, the production or lack thereof from Kevin Love has been a hot topic.
Love’s numbers are down all across the board, but the one stat that jumps out at you is his field goal attempts. Last year in Minnesota, Love averaged 18.5 shot attempts compared to only 12.9 this year.
When you team up with Kyrie Irving and LeBron James, you should expect your touches to diminish quite a bit.
With that being said, former 7-time all-star Alonzo Mourning believes Love won’t be in a Cavs uniform much longer.
I think he’s probably going to go to LA. I could see that.
Love will surely weigh all his options this summer. His decision may come down to what Cleveland is able to do in the playoffs.
In the meantime, we’ll just keep speculating.
