After being accused of using artificial crowd noise in the Georgia Dome for the past 2 seasons, the Atlanta Falcons finally know their punishment.
The Falcons will lost a 2106 5th round draft pick, in addition to a $350,000 fine.
The 5th round pick will the highest of the multiple 5th round picks the Falcons have in 2016.
Falcons GM Rich McKay will also be suspended from the NFL Competition Committee, effective April 1st. McKay will be able to ask for reinstatement on or after June 30.
Former Falcons Director of Event Marketing Roddy White was found responsible directly for the noise violation. If Roddy White gets hired by another team, he will be suspended for 8 weeks.
