Mike Scott, second string forward for the Atlanta Hawks, hasn’t played since Game 3 of the Hawks vs Wizards series and it’s starting to eat at him.
As Scott was sulking at his locker, after not being used in 4 games in the Hawks playoff run. Scott averaged 16.5 minutes in the regular season and averaged 8 points a game and 3 rebounds a game.
When I asked him did he feel like he would be getting for time if DeMarre Carroll had to miss any time, he stated that:
“You gotta talk to coach about that,” said Scott.
Next I asked Scott why hasn’t he played much in the playoffs and he begrudgingly responded the exact same way.
“You gotta talk to coach about that,” said Scott.
So of course, that question was asked to Coach Budenholzer in the post game press conference. Coach Bud answered the question in the most blanket way possible:
“Mike Scott is always ready to play,” said Budenholzer.
So we will see how this story unfolds, one thing is for sure, Mike Muscala who has been getting time over Scott, has been playing phenomenal.
