Odell Beckham Jr. is a confident man — so much so — that he’s daring defenses to cover him with two people.
Discussing his meteoric rookie season, and expectations for year two, Beckham Jr. made it clear that “defenses can adjust, but they still won’t stop him.”
“I definitely expect to receive a lot more attention,” Beckham said Wednesday after looking as explosive as ever in the Giants’ first organized team activities (OTA) workout of the year. “But it’s just not going to work.”
It’s about more than his playmaking abilities — Beckham is counting on the return of a healthy and explosive Victor Cruz as well.
“You know you have Vic and Reuben, it’s going to be hard to double or have a safety over the top with the stuff that we have going on,” Beckham said. “I don’t think it’s going to be beneficial for them.”
