The 2015 NBA MVP Steph Curry put on a show last night in Game 5 of the NBA Finals to have the Golden State Warriors up 3-2 over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Curry had his breakout game and it couldn’t have came at a better time, the Chef scored a team-high 37 points shooting 13-23 from the field and made a dazzling 7 threes with numerous step backs that had the Oracle going wild.
King James witnessed the eruption of threes first hand and spoke on his performance.
“I thought he was great. You tip your hat off to a guy like that. He made seven threes. I don’t know, were any of them not contested, hand in his face, falling, stepback off the dribble? I’m okay with that. We’re okay with that. I mean, you tip your hat to a guy who makes shots like that, and he’s the guy that can do it in our league.
He’s the best shooter in our league.”
King James was nothing short of spectacular himself in the loss, going for 40 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists in a duel between MVPs.
Game 6 should be a thriller, expect both James and Curry to put on a show.
