Athletes at times take the safe route on issues of race, religion, politics and etc. I can’t blame them because even if their opinion is rational, people will freak out over it.
But, athletes are human beings first, so they will have opinions, you may not like them, but they are entitled to them.
Ohio State Cardale Jones weighed in on the #blacklivesmatter controversy that Stephen A. Smith started when he said the hashtag was a distraction.
