Tigers GM Dave Dombrowski recently placed Yoenis Cespedes on the trade block. Now the Mets are close to acquiring the young outfielder from the Tigers. The Tigers only acquired Cespedes last off-season from the Red Sox for pitcher Rick Porcello.
This would be Cespedes 3rd team in the past year. He’s becoming quite the MLB journeyman after coming over from the Dominican Republic.
