All signs point to Osi Umenyiora calling it quits after 11 years in the NFL. Umenyiora, a long time member of the Giants, played his last two season for the Atlanta Falcons but is expected to head back to New York to sign a 1-day contract. The 1-day contact will allow Osi to retire as a member of the Giants.
Umenyiora spent his first 9 seasons in the NFL with the Giants after being drafted in the second-round of the 2003 draft. Osi played in 129 games and his 75 sacks leave him 4th all-time in Giants history. Osi was a dominating force on the field and his career highlights will be his 2 Super Bowl Titles, 2 Pro Bowl appearance and one First-Team All Pro honor.
