Brandon Jennings Buys Out Theater To See Straight Outta Compton (Photos)

The must see movie out right now is no doubt Straight Outta Compton, and it seems that the expectations for flick that had everyone anxious are being met by those who have seen it.

For guys like Brandon Jennings, this hits really close to home since he is from Compton. So in an act of generosity, Jennings bought out a California theater so that he could take in the movie with his friends and community.

Brandon Jennings who is a native of the City of Compton, CA decided to support the film in a unique way, He bought out the whole theatre to watch the film with his friends and community. In a short intro prior to the movie starting, Brandon states “I’m from the City of Compton, this is very important to me, and to my City, this is one of our first films for Compton specifically and I’m proud to support it, so I bought this whole Mutha Effa Out”, the crowd claps and thanks Brandon. He invited out other Compton Natives such as Malaysia – star of BBWLA, Eric Bellinger – R&B Singer who’s project “Cuffin Season” is climbing the charts and LA Ambassador/ Super Promoter Miss Diddy who’s company represents Brandon Jennings. This is an extremely dope gesture by Jennings. It is dope to see guys take pride and where they come from and to not forget where they come from.

It could have been one thing for him to just want to take in the movie with his family. Instead he invited the entire community to come out as well and I think that is very cool on several levels.
