Super Bowl XLIX will be remembered forever for all the wrong reasons. Although it was a very competitive and entertaining game, the game will be remembered for coach Pete Carroll’s bone head call which caused the Seahawks the title. Late in the fourth quarter the Seahawks found themselves inside the 5 yard line and decided to call a pass play instead of just handing the ball off to “Beast Mode.” We all know how the story ends, Russell Wilson drops back, throws the pass and Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler jumps the route intercepting the ball sealing the deal for the New England Patriots.
The Seahawks were the butt of many jokes for months. Now that the smoke has cleared, Marshawn Lynch has decided to have a little fun with the bad play call as he made an appearance on the show “The League.”
This scene is hilarious. It was funny to see people chime in on the horrible play call and Lynch’s feeling about the play are evident after this video. No one agreed with the call but it seems that Lynch has shaken it off and is ready to prove to the Seahawks why they should have just handed him the ball.
