So here is the situation.
Marshawn Lynch leaves his hotel in Green Bay for a stroll, when a bunch of kids start following him for autographs and pics, but Lynch isn’t in the mood, but the kids keep following him.
According to one of the kids’ uncle here is what happened next via TMZ.
Marshawn Lynch allegedly threatened to “slap the smile” off the face of a 13-year-old boy who was asking for an autograph this weekend … this according to the boy’s uncle.
Neither the boy nor his uncle captured the alleged threat on tape — but say it all went down in front of a group of witnesses.
Dave Medina — who was there with his 13-year-old nephew — and he says Lynch got even nastier when the cameras stopped recording.
“He told my nephew, ‘How would you like it if I slapped that f**king phone out of your hand and that smile off your face.'”
You can see in the recording below Lynch tells the kids to back up off him while he is walking.
Couple of ways you can look at this. Athletes are under no obligation to sign autographs or talk to you, so Lynch was within his rights to say no and to ask for some space. Others will say it would have taken a couple of minutes to sign the autographs and put a smile on some kids’ faces.
What side of the fence are you on with this?
