I am sure the Petty Crockers of the world will find something to complain about or tell Jen Welter she shouldn’t go, but I think this is a nice gesture on Mayweather’s part.
Doesn’t mean Welter has to agree with everything Mayweather does in life, maybe she just likes boxing and there is nothing wrong with that.
We spoke with Welter’s rep who tells us … after her story attracted national attention, they got a call from Team Mayweather … who offered 2 ringside seats to his upcoming fight against Andre Berto.
We’re told Mayweather is a fan — and wanted to show his support. As for Welter, she’s flattered and we’re told she’s definitely planning on attending.
There are some talks according to TMZ that she might even walk Mayweather into the ring.
