Believe it or not, Pacman Jones has been in the NFL 10 years now.
If you bet on him lasting this long after his first couple of years in the league, you would be a rich man. For the most part he has gotten his life back together, but this was inexcusable last Sunday.
Pacman was fined $35k (lucky he wasn’t suspended), but instead of just taking his fine, he is upset about the amount.
“I’m going to [let] whatever happened on the field stay on the field,” he said. “Everybody knows how I play this game. That’s not going to stop.”
“I don’t want to do nothing to hurt my team. I’ve got to keep my cool and play within the lines.”
Even so, Jones said, “I can’t promise it won’t happen again. I’m an emotional player.”
At least you can’t say he isn’t honest.
