Steph Curry is so talented that even his warm up routine is becoming a must-watch for Warriors fans.
Curry’s pregame shots get deeper and deeper until, at one point, he’s closer to halfcourt than the 3-point line.
For years, the doors there have unlocked for fans 90 minutes before the game—or right when Curry warms up. Now the team is thinking about opening the arena a half-hour earlier and showing Curry on the scoreboard, said Brandon Schneider, the Warriors’ senior vice president of business development.
This may sound ridiculous at first, but it could actually be a great lesson for young NBA fans. Curry seems to be just as intense during his pre-game as he is while the clock is running; and you can get a greater understanding for all of the work this man puts in.
Plus, for those of whom who can’t truly appreciate Curry’s finesse or ball handling skills – he even demonstrates his insane shooting range by taking a Harlem-Globetrotter-type-shot from the tunnel.
These videos prove that not only is Curry potentially the most talented player in the NBA; but he also may be the hardest worker.
If I ran the Warriors I’d want my fans to witness this greatness, too.
