The Patriots made some surprising moves today as they traded away Chandler Jones for guard Jonathan Cooper, but as the day went on, things started to make sense again. The Pats have reportedly signed Chris Long as Jones’ replacement. After struggling the last few seasons, mostly with injuries, Long was cut by the Rams.
Long was set to visit with Dallas after he left his visit with the Patriots, but they locked him in before Jerry Jones could work his magic.
