Charlamagne Tha God made his way to Brooklyn’s Gleason’s Gym to spar off with Shawn Porter. Did he have enough to take the boxer down? There’s only one way to find out.
When you walk into Gleason’s Gym, you’re walking into history. Some of our favorite boxers have practiced in that gym and others got their start at that very gym. In other words, it’s a historical location. Shawn Porter is set to fight against Keith Thurman on June 25 but before fight night, he had unfinished business to take care of.
Porter held a sparring with celebrities special at Gleason’s and invited Charlamagne Tha God to be apart of it. I’m sure that by now many of you saw Charlamagne’s run-in with Birdman. Did Charlamagne put some “Respek” on his sparring game or did Porter finish him off? It’s pretty safe to say that after this spar, Charlamagne walked away with a new found respect for boxing because it’s not easy to be in that ring. Charlamagne even said, “It feels like I ran 2 miles!”
