Former St. John’s basketball prospect, Rysheed Jordan, is in a tub of hot water.
Former St. John’s player Rysheed Jordan was arrested Wednesday in Philadelphia and charged with attempted murder, robbery and other offenses after police say he shot a man in the arm, Philadelphia television station WPVI reported.
Police said Jordan and two other men used Facebook to arrange a meeting with three other men to sell a cell phone,m according to the WPVI report. They say Jordan’s group then attempted to rob the others. Jordan attempted to flee on foot but was later captured, police said.
Jordan left the university last summer after being ruled ineligible for the first semester of the 2015-2016 season.
