The good news is that 21-year-old Salvator Bimbo is alive and in stable condition after falling 50 feet from the upper deck at Oracle Arena.
It is a miracle he was able to survive that.
His father is asking for help to find the person who did this to his son.
A father is making a desperate plea for help after he said his son was pushed and fell 50 feet from the upper-level ledge at Oracle Arena right after Game 7 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers.
“My son came from Los Angeles to come see the Warriors game,” father Ronnie Bimbo said. “It was his dream to come to see a Warriors playoff game. My son’s dream turned into a nightmare.”
“My son’s cheekbone is smashed, his nose, his upper-eye, his head, his brain,” Ronnie said. “He’s leaking from his ears blood. Not very good. He’s a beautiful young man. Did not deserve this.”
Salvator’s brother was at the game that night. He told his father that Salvator, who is a husband and father of two, was pushed over a ledge by a rival fan.
According to Ronnie, a fight broke out on the upper level after the game. His son was caught in the middle of the melee and started video recording it.
“That somebody picked him up from his legs and pushed him over while he was recording,” Ronnie said. “There was a fight and that somebody pushed him over the ledge that’s there.”
If you know who did this to Salvator contact the Oakland Police Department’s Assault Unit at (510) 238-3426.
