Regardless if you agree with Kaepernick kneeling for the anthem, no one can say he hasn’t backed that up by trying to make things better in the community.
He’s not perfect, neither are we, but I rather an imperfect man trying to do something, than an imperfect person doing nothing but complaining all day.
The San Francisco 49ers wrapped up their 2016 season on Sunday, and on Monday, quarterback Colin Kaepernick was keeping busy. He spent part of the day going to shelters and orphanages to donate a variety of materials. He passed along books, clothing, bedding, and more, and the Know Your Rights Camp Instagram account has a couple videos from the day.
It should be noted that Kaepernick had no cameras with him, he wasn’t trying to make a scene or production about it, he is just trying to make a difference in these kids lives.
If he helps even one kid that is more than a lot of people have done in this world.
