According to Ian Rapoport, Marshawn Lynch to the Raiders is happening, but here are the things that have to be worked out first.
It’s contingent on a reworked contract first. Per NFL rules, if Lynch is traded, he does not have to file a letter un-retiring. It would be a clean return to play. The running back had permission from Seattle to talk to the Raiders. His agents have permission to rework his deal. If it happens, then there will be trade talks, Rapoport added.
As far as compensation for the Seahawks, expect it to be a mid to late round draft pick. If it is a future pick meaning not in this year’s draft look for the pick to be higher if Lynch performs well in Oakland.
