Kyrie wants out of Cleveland, but it isn’t as simple as him just wanted to be traded.
ESPN listed several reasons why Kyrie wants out and frankly some seem very valid, others seem a bit childish, but here they are.
- Kyrie doesn’t want to be Robin anymore, he wants to be Batman. He wants to be the centerpiece of whatever team he is on.
- Kyrie’s beef with LeBron is mostly game related in the sense he doesn’t like how LeBron dominates the ball.
- Kyrie is upset LeBron’s personal friends can ride on team plane and Kyrie’s can’t.
- Kyrie wants to be treated and catered to like John Wall & Damian Lillard are with their teams.
- Kyrie wasn’t pleased about the firing of GM David Griffin who was a sounding board for him.
- Kyrie wasn’t told he was being shopped in trades for Paul George and Jimmy Butler and when he did find out that was last straw.
So, this wasn’t like Kyrie woke up one day and wanted to be traded, this has been in the works for a while.
