WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has been all over the world entertaining fans for over 40 years, so in a recent interview with Gamespot.com to promote his ESPN 30 for 30 film documenting his incredible life, he had no issue giving his opinion on the best in WWE today.
“It’s one of four people: Randy Orton, A.J. Styles, my daughter, and Seth Rollins. I didn’t even have to think twice about that,” Flair said.
Flair was very quick to explain that he is not pushing his daughter and that any fan can see all of the gifts that Charlotte Flair possess. Its also easy to see how much of an influence Ric has on Charlotte whenever she performs in a WWE ring. Everything from the elaborate robes to her finishing moves have that extra swag in its delivery.
She’s amenities strong, I didn’t even advise her of this–with her robes and her outfits. She dresses immaculately and when she’s on the road, she’s phenomenal. The guys know that, too. There’s no better athlete in the company.”
Now as the for the others named by Flair (Randy Orton, Seth Rollins and A J Styles) he gave very convincing argument why these men are the best in the WWE today.
Orton is just one of the most gifted guys I’ve ever seen. Orton brings the whole package. He’s 6’4″, phenomenal body, he’s a good talker and a phenomenal in-ring performer. Seth Rollins is the same, just a little bit smaller. A.J. is close to being Sean Michaels in terms of work ethic. He’s really good and his interviews have gotten better.
The ESPN 30 for 30 film titled “Nature Boy” is set to debut on November 7th beginning at 10 pm EST and will feature contributions with many WWE stars such as HHH, Undertaker and Shawn Michaels.
