All the gamers out there, we have some exciting news, according to UPROXX, Shaq-Fu sequel will be released later this year.
The original game came out in 1994 for the Sega Genesis and Super NES but now this game will be hitting the next-gen systems. The official title is Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn. After four years of production, the game released a trailer in 2015 showing the progress and now the game is polished and is set to be unleashed.
There isn’t a specific date, but it’s said that the game will be released during the spring. Big Deez productions opened up about some of the challenges over the past few years.
“It has been a long, difficult road over the last year or so as we wrangled with unforeseen difficulties in getting the game released. You wouldn’t believe some of the problems we’ve encountered. We wrote the game over three years ago and had no idea what history had in store for the world at that time. As a result, we had to change certain narratives because things got a little Nostradamus as the months unfolded. Some major plot changes meant we had to rework certain sections of the game that had a huge impact on the story overall.”
Big Deez has promised a new trailer coming soon with a release date, so stay tuned. Flip the page for classic gameplay of Shaq-Fu from 1994.
