Former NFL player Jonathan Martin appeared in L.A. today as the judge set his hearing for his weapons case.
The judge set his preliminary hearing for May 14 for the 4 counts of criminal threats and possessing a loaded fireman.
Back in February, Martin posted a picture of a gun and bullets with a message towards his former teammates and high school classmates. The message read, “When you’re a bully victim & a coward your options are suicide, or revenge”. This incident was a week after 17 were killed in Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida. When he was arrested, he was carrying a gun, knife and ax.
Reports from TMZ state Martin was placed in a mental health facility and when he was released, he was ordered by the judge to wear a GPS device and alcohol monitoring anklet.
