The Patriots Are Falling Like Rome
Nothing lasts forever, the New England Patriots included.
Bill Belichick is aging, but more importantly, Tom Brady is aging. Yeah, I know this has been the case forever, but he’s really aging now. Yes, I KNOW he threw for 505 yards on the Eagles defense in Super Bowl LII & broke 17 records in the process. But, amidst reports of Gronk being wooed by the thought of jumping into an acting career full-time, & his family pushing him in that direction as well, one would have to imagine he’s at least seriously considering it.
Gronk has made good money, already chiseled his name into Patriot legend, & has cemented a strong case for Hall-of-Fame consideration; so it’s not like there’s a lot of ‘what-if’ for him to ponder if he does indeed walk away.
