The Nets’ Allen Crabe is an LA native and gives back to his community whenever possible. This happened recently as he paid enough money to save his old Frederick K.C. Price III Christian School from shutting down, per TMZ Sports.
The school was set to be closed due to lost funding from a local church but Crabbe paid a six-figure check to keep the school operating. Crabbe said he attended the school all the way until he was 18.
“I was at that school practically my whole life,” Allen said to TMZ. “I’m just happy and feel blessed to be in a position now to do this.”
Salute to Crabbe for making an impact in his city and not forgetting where he came from.
