The Forbes Celebrity 100 ranks front-of-the-camera stars around the globe using their pretax earnings from June 1, 2017 through June 1, 2018, before deducting fees for managers, lawyers and agents.
After that data was collected, Floyd Mayweather was the highest paid celebrity during that time period, earning $285 million beating out self-made billionaire Kyle Jenner with $167 million at #3 and Dwayne Johnson with $124 million at #5. Surprisingly, Beyoncé came in at #34, Diddy at #32, Jay Z at #25, and Kim Kardashian West at #30.
Mayweather did not make the Richest Celebrities list for 2017, but after his August 2017 fight with Conor McGregor made almost $600 million in revenue, he immediately shot to #1. The heavy weight champ also is the highest paid athlete on Forbes’ Highest Paid Athletes list, with LeBron James at #6 and Steph Curry at #8.
