Lance Gross is speaking out after social media users flooded his comments, accusing him of colorism after he made a remark on his son’s complexion.
Gross posted on Instagram a photo that features his newborn son Lennon, swaddled in a blanket while looking cute and cuddly for the cameras. Gross captioned the photo,
LL Kool G my ???? little man’s color is comin’ in nicely! I’m hyped! ????????????????✊????
From there, social media users accused him of colorism, self-hatred, and secret thoughts of wanting to have lighter pigmented skin due to his wife being a fairer shade of black. When the commentary became too much, Gross fired off his own long response.
