In response to the flood of mentions, tags and hostile comments, Brown restricted interactions on her Instagram profile, according to multiple user reports and social media observers. She and Thompson also reportedly unfollowed each other on the platform, though the exact timing was unclear.
Brown has been subjected to a flood of derogatory and abusive comments on X and other platforms as Megan Thee Stallion fans and others piled on. Commenters have repeatedly called her a “pick-me,” “bird brain,” and “TEXTBOOK side bitch,” while criticizing her character and professional abilities. One widely shared post stated: “Lexie Brown has BEEN a pick-me, male-centered WEIRDO. She is EXACTLY the type of bird brain to be flattered that someone like Klay Thompson would want to sneak around with her behind his high-profile girlfriend’s back. She is TEXTBOOK side bitch.
