I am not sure how this is Jenkins’ fault.
I have to ask my fiancee who works for a law firm if this is a suit that has any chance of winning this.
The owners of a New Jersey home where the brother of Janoris Jenkins is accused of having killed music producer Roosevelt Rene are suing the New York Giants cornerback, reports NorthJersey.com.
The landlords, identified as S.R. and N.R. Tummalapenta, filed court documents on Thursday claiming the value of the home has decreased 30 percent since the killing, and they are seeking $700,000 from Jenkins in damages.
The Tummalapentas further claim that Jenkins broke their lease agreement by allowing his brother and others to live in the home.
William Jenkins was arrested and charged with aggravated manslaughter shortly after the body of Rene was found in the basement studio of the home. Police said the two engaged in a physical altercation before Jenkins strangled and/or suffocated Rene.
