Jimmy Uso Body Cam Video Released After Detroit Arrest; What Footage Actually Shows After Initial Reports Said Uso ‘Squared Up On Police’ (Video)

This past February WWE Superstar Jimmy Uso was arrested in Detroit for disorderly conduct and obstruction after a night out with his wife, also WWE Superstar Naomi.

After Naomi was pulled over after driving the wrong way on a one way road, police stated the vehicle smelled of booze. While police were speaking with Naomi, Uso got out of the car and approached police.

Police then took Uso into custody after showing signs of intoxication he was then taken to jail and then later released on bond. Naomi was not arrested as part of the incident.

Body cam footage of the arrest has been released after initial reports stated that Uso took off his shirt and ‘squared up with police.’

The footage shows some but not all of the arrest from the February 14th incident also showing a concerned Naomi as police take Uso into custody.

Uso, whose real name is Jonathan Fatu, can be seen visibly out of it and intoxicated in the back of the squad car as he is taken off to jail by Detroit police.

While the video does show Fatu with his shirt off, it does not show him telling police to ‘square up’ or being menacing as the arrest is unfolding as initially alleged.

Jimmy Uso is one half of the Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions, along with his brother Jey Uso.

Jimmy and Jey went on to win the Tag Team championships at the February PPV Elimination Chamber over the The Miz and Shane McMahon a few days after the Valentine’s Day arrest.

WWE released a statement in February after the arrest stating,

“Jonathan Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions.”

Fatu has not been disciplined by the WWE for the February incident.

The Usos are preparing to defend their Tag Team titles at Wrestlemania against an opponent TBD in New York City.
